Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,700 per week

About the role

The successful candidate will provide physical therapy assistant services under the direction and supervision of physical therapists.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Montana.
• Experience in an inpatient setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

Skills

• Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

Pay is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
