Physical Therapist Outpatient position located in Arlington, Virginia. This role involves implementing therapeutic interventions, assisting with patient mobility and safety, and collaborating with healthcare team members to achieve patient long-term goals. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient setting with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
Schedule
- Days shift, 8 hours per day
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in executing treatment plans including posture training, strengthening exercises, balance activities, gait training, and modality use such as ultrasound and whirlpools
- Monitor patient responses and ensure safety
- Maintain documentation
- Educate patients and families on body mechanics
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and clinic policies
- Maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- CAPTE (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education) certification
- Six months of outpatient clinical experience
- CPR certification
