Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,680 per week

About the role

A physical therapy assistant position is available for a 13-week duration at an outpatient setting in Kansas City, Kansas. This position requires 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts from Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Help patients perform exercises and maintain their physical health
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Pass a background check and drug screening
