About the Role

Vibra Travels is seeking a dependable, detail-focused Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. This role involves supporting physical therapy services in a hospital or Inpatient Rehabilitation setting, helping patients improve mobility and functional outcomes while traveling the country.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
  • Maintain familiarity with documentation standards and electronic medical record systems
  • Provide strong communication and patient education
  • Work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a hospital, rehab, skilled nursing, or outpatient setting
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current, valid, and active driver's license
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

  • Current, valid, and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor (AHA preferred and required by some clients)

Additional Qualifications/Skills

  • Experience implementing physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Ability to assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
  • Familiarity with documentation standards and electronic medical record systems
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
  • Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace

Work with 1 recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment. Local and Non-local positions available. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
