About the Role
Vibra Travels is seeking a dependable, detail-focused Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. This role involves supporting physical therapy services in a hospital or Inpatient Rehabilitation setting, helping patients improve mobility and functional outcomes while traveling the country.
Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
- Maintain familiarity with documentation standards and electronic medical record systems
- Provide strong communication and patient education
- Work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a hospital, rehab, skilled nursing, or outpatient setting
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current, valid, and active driver's license
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
Certificates, Licensures, Registrations
- Current, valid, and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor (AHA preferred and required by some clients)
Additional Qualifications/Skills
- Experience implementing physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Ability to assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
- Familiarity with documentation standards and electronic medical record systems
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
- Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace

Work with 1 recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment. Local and Non-local positions available. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
