About the role
SkyBridge Healthcare Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Danville, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed therapists.
- Assist in patient assessments, treatments, and progress monitoring.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Active physical therapy assistant license in good standing.
- At least 2+ years of relevant experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized physical therapy assistant program.
- Current CPR certification.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
