American Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Mitchells, Virginia. This position is part of a corrections contract assignment.
Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy plans and document patient progress
- Assist with patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing industry-standard techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure compliance with correctional facility protocols and safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PTA
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Strong clinical skills in patient mobility and rehabilitation techniques
- Ability to manage a diverse patient population with accuracy and compassion
- Willingness to obtain Virginia state licensure
