About the role
The role involves treating patients through various therapeutic interventions under the direction of physical therapists.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.
Requirements
- Must have a current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in New Jersey.
- Experience working in an inpatient setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
