Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,582 per week

About the role

The role involves treating patients through various therapeutic interventions under the direction of physical therapists.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.

Requirements

• Must have a current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in New Jersey.
• Experience working in an inpatient setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
