Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,562 per week

AHS Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Los Angeles, California.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist in patient care activities such as positioning, transferring, and mobility exercises.
• Help patients with range of motion exercises, strength training, and other therapeutic activities.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Skills

• Proficient in using medical terminology and understanding of physical therapy techniques.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
