About the role

The role involves treating patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions under the direction of physical therapists.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• Experience in an inpatient setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
