Skyline Med Staff Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 26-week assignment starting October 12, 2026, in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform tasks such as positioning patients, administering treatments, and documenting progress
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent work experience in physical therapy assistant
• A current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
• Active license in the state of Fairbanks, Alaska (if applicable)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
