Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions under the direction and supervision of physical therapists.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions under the direction and supervision of physical therapists.
• Record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Massachusetts.
• Experience in a hospital or inpatient setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited program in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Massachusetts.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
