About the role
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, starting on July 20, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform routine patient assessments and document findings
- Administer treatments and exercises as directed by a licensed physical therapist
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent work experience in the specialty of the job applying for
- A current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
- Active License in the state of the job location (if applicable)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) or equivalent state exam
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
- Basic computer skills for electronic health records (EHR) and other administrative tasks
Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are from 07:00:00 to 15:00:00 daily.
