About the role
The successful candidate will provide therapy under the direction and supervision of physical therapists.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Maryland.
- Experience in an inpatient setting preferred.
- Knowledge of patient assessment and treatment techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8 hours, days shift.
