Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,501 per week

About the role

The role involves treating patients through various therapeutic interventions under the supervision of physical therapists.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Oregon.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

Skills

• Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 8 hours, days, with a start date of ASAP and a duration of 13 weeks.
