About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 26-week assignment in Salem, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning.
- Perform routine patient care tasks such as hygiene, mobility, and positioning.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Requirements
- BLS certification.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
