Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,490 per week

About the Role

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a contract assignment at a skilled nursing facility / long-term care (SNF / LTC) in Concord, California. This position offers a 13-week assignment with a start date as soon as possible.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for incorporating the organization’s vision, values, mission, and critical goals into job performance.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
• Implement and modify the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
• Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients' goals.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Open to both experienced and newly graduated Physical Therapy Assistants.
