About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment starting October 26, 2026, located in Canton, Illinois. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in patient care activities
• Help patients with exercises and treatments
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions
• Follow safety protocols and assist with equipment setup

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screening

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
