About the role
Skyline Med Staff Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 26-week travel job in Mauldin, South Carolina starting July 20, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in the provision of physical therapy services
- Perform tasks such as positioning patients, administering treatments, and documenting progress
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent work experience in physical therapy assistant
- A current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
- Active license in the state of the job location (if applicable)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) or equivalent state exam
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
