About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will implement therapeutic programs developed by Physical Therapists to assist individuals in enhancing their quality of life after injury, illness, or loss of a body part. Consideration will be given to each patient's gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients as directed by Physical Therapists.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families on care and rehabilitation processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Montana.
- Current PTA license in Montana.
Assignment details
- Location: Havre, Montana
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Schedule: 36 hours per week; the posting notes both a night shift (12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00) and a day shift (8:00–17:00) — confirm with recruiter.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
