Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,454 per week

About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026, in Salisbury, Maryland. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform routine tasks such as setting up equipment, preparing treatment areas, and assisting patients with mobility
• Help patients with exercises and stretches as directed by physical therapists
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare team members

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screening

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 8 hours, Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 4:00 PM.
