About the role
SkyBridge Healthcare Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed therapists
- Assist in patient care activities including but not limited to patient positioning, mobility, and equipment usage
- Help maintain patient records and documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Requirements
- Active therapy state license and corresponding education credentials
- New graduates and those with 2+ years of relevant experience are welcome to apply
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized physical therapy assistant program
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for patient record keeping

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8 hours per day shift.
