Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,450 per week
Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant position in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves assisting in implementing patient treatment plans, supporting therapeutic interventions, and promoting patient safety and functional independence. The therapist will work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality outpatient care following all safety and clinical guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in carrying out treatment plans
- Train patients in gait and mobility exercises
- Utilize modalities such as ultrasound and hydrotherapy
- Maintain documentation of patient progress
- Provide patient and family education
- Ensure safety protocols are followed
- Participate in team meetings to optimize care quality
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- CAPTE certification
- At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience
- CPR certification
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Professionalism and excellent communication skills
- Strong commitment to patient safety and team collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with outpatient adult and pediatric patients
- Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and assistive devices
Schedule
- Day shifts, 8 hours per day
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week assignment starting 08/24/2026

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
