Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Document patient progress and report to supervising therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehabilitation setting
- BLS/CPR certification
