Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,431 per week
Responsibilities
- Aid in implementing personalized treatment plans as directed by physical therapists.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance patient function and mobility.
- Maintain close monitoring of patient progress and communicate any changes to the supervising physical therapist.
- Teach patients and their families about proper exercise techniques and safety measures.
- Accurately document all patient sessions and progress updates.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless and coordinated care.
- Participate in discharge planning and assist in facilitating continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
- Passing of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) or possession of a PTA license/certification.
- First Aid Certification (BLS) is strongly recommended.
About the Role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a rehabilitation center in Portland, Oregon. This is a 12-week, 40-hour-per-week position starting immediately, with a shift of 8 hours per day. Pay, Benefits, and Schedule
The pay for this position ranges from $1,408.96 to $1,452.54 per week. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, and relocation assistance. Weekly pay is provided.
