Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,424 per week
Responsibilities
- Aid in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications
- Completion of accredited PTA program.
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
- TN PTA licensure/certification.
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended.
About the Role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Jasper, Tennessee. The start date is July 13, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek and 8-hour shifts. This position will work at a Rehabilitation Center and will require the candidate to hold a First Aid Certification (BLS).
Pay, Benefits, and Schedule
The pay rate for this position is $1,402.18 - $1,445.55 per week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401K, and relocation assistance. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must have completed an accredited PTA program, passed the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE), and hold a TN PTA license/certification. A First Aid Certification (BLS) is strongly recommended.
