About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Waterville, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists
- Assist in patient care activities such as exercise, range of motion exercises, and other therapeutic interventions
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Proficiency in using medical software and documentation systems
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures
