About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Castro Valley, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of treatments as directed by a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of equipment used in physical therapy.
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of California.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
Skills
- Proficiency in using medical terminology and understanding of physical therapy techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday.
