Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in East Winter Haven, Florida.

About the Role

Lake Mariam Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work alongside an experienced rehabilitation team, helping adult and geriatric patients improve mobility, strength, and independence. As a PTA, you'll implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist while making a meaningful impact on each patient's recovery and quality of life.

• 13-week travel contract
• Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
• 8-hour day shifts
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Collaborative rehab team environment
• Located in Winter Haven, Florida

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with gait training, therapeutic exercise, balance activities, transfers, and functional mobility
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team

Requirements

• Florida PTA license required
• BLS certification required
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
