Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,325 per week

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13‑week contract starting September 28, 2026, in East Winter Haven, Florida. The position is at Lake Mariam Health & Rehabilitation Center, a skilled nursing facility serving adult and geriatric patients. As a travel PTA, you will implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist, assist with gait training, therapeutic exercise, balance activities, transfers, and functional mobility, monitor patient progress, educate patients and caregivers, complete documentation, and collaborate with nursing and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with gait training, therapeutic exercise, balance activities, transfers, and functional mobility
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
