About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 12-week assignment starting ASAP in Portland, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists
- Assist in patient care activities such as exercise, stretching, and mobility training
- Help patients with daily living activities as needed
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screening
- Pass a criminal history check
