Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,303 per week

About the role

This is a contract, 5x8 Days position for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) specializing in Rehabilitation. The role requires 40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, and starts immediately.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
• Adhere to infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license within the state of practice
• 1 year of recent experience as a PTA specializing in Rehabilitation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a PTA program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)

Pay

The pay package is based on 8.0 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
