About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Freehold Township, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Pass a criminal history check.
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
