About the role
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 12-week assignment in Paramus, New Jersey. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and starts immediately.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
- Help patients with mobility and functional activities
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) or equivalent
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Basic computer skills
