Triage Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Providence, Rhode Island. The position is located at the Providence location and starts on April 20, 2026. The shift is 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and the duration is 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
• Adhere to infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Rhode Island
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and equipment
