American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, with CA licensure required and new graduates welcome to apply.

Details

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• May include occasional weekend coverage and floating as needed
• 36-hour work week
• Assignment length ranges from 13 to 26 weeks

Requirements

• CA license required (if applicable)
• 1 year of SNF experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
• BLS certification required
• Experience treating orthopedic conditions such as cervicalgia, low back pain, spinal conditions, and post-op cervical, shoulder, spinal, hip, and knee surgeries preferred
• Experience treating neurologic conditions such as cognitive disorders, MS, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury preferred
• Strong skills in patient assessment and body mechanics

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
