Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients across outpatient caseload, including pediatric patients, with appropriate PT plans and progression
- Implement and update individualized treatment plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed
- Document patient status, goals, and outcomes per department standards; communicate with the care team
- Provide patient and caregiver education on exercises, safety, and home program adherence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teammates to support acute care and swing bed program needs and discharge planning
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in Texas
- Pediatric therapy experience required; not accepting new graduates
- Experience with outpatient therapy
- Familiarity with acute care and swing bed programs preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills
