Travel Physical Therapist assignment in Seaford, Delaware, starting 12/01/2026 for 13 weeks.

About the role

Work in a long-term care / skilled-nursing setting dedicated to geriatric rehabilitation. This is a 5×8–day shift (08:00–16:30) with a guaranteed 35-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

• Perform PT evaluations for residents with mobility, strength, balance, and functional needs; establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve gait, transfers, activities of daily living, and overall mobility.
• Reassess resident progress regularly, adjust goals, and document outcomes in required health records.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nurses, therapy aides, and other therapists) to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning input, and home exercise programs to support continued progress after therapy.
• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and privacy standards while delivering high-quality care.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in Delaware.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting and participate in a travel assignment.
• Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Comfort with a 35-hour guaranteed workweek and 08:00–16:30 shift schedule.

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,423–$2,538.
