Physical Therapist – Skilled Nursing Facility, Gulfport, Mississippi.
Start date: 07/27/2026
Weekly pay range: $2,160–$2,337 per week
Guaranteed hours: 35 per week
Shift: 08:00–16:30, five days per week
This travel assignment occurs in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive PT evaluations for residents and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement rehab programs including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility training
- Apply appropriate modalities and manual techniques in accordance with clinical judgment
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, document outcomes, and communicate with the care team
- Ensure patient safety, compliance with regulations, and accurate charting in the EMR; participate in discharge planning and care conferences
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in Mississippi or eligibility for licensure
- Degree from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT preferred)
- Experience in skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation settings preferred
- Ability to work the scheduled shift (08:00–16:30) and meet 35 hours guaranteed weekly
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with nurses, physicians, and therapy staff
