Job Description This position follows a clinical interview process for applicants, ensuring outreach within two hours via phone and text. Candidates will have decisions typically made the same day or by the next business day. This role focuses on effectively screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or those requiring wound care, while developing appropriate plans of care that adhere to all regulatory and clinical practice standards. Responsibilities Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions. Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care. Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting in clinical records as per regulations. Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services as needed. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans. Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, adhering to regulatory and clinical requirements. Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy. Attend required meetings and participate in facility and company training and conferences. Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as necessary. Adhere to APTA and state-required practice acts and ethics during professional practice. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required. Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation required. Must possess a Missouri State License. New graduates are welcome if they have Level II clinical experience. Why ARMStaffing?
