Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician input.
• Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation, including goals, assessments, and charge entries, in compliance with regulations.
• Design functional treatment programs to facilitate patient recovery and community reintegration, progressing towards discharge.
• Delegate therapy services, ensuring care aligns with physician orders and insurance approvals.
• Supervise and mentor students, providing guidance and evaluations as assigned.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and participation in professional organizations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Unrestricted Physical Therapist licensure in Maine and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Experience in patient evaluations and evidence-based treatment planning.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and professional standards.
• PREFERRED: Experience in outpatient settings and mentoring students.
