Travel Physical Therapist - Pediatrics - $2,670 per week

About the role

Physical Therapist Pediatrics (PT PEDS) position located in an acute care hospital setting. Provides pediatric therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient environments, focusing on pediatric patient care within a Level II Trauma facility.

Schedule

8‑hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 10/19/2026 and concluding 01/18/2027.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pediatric physical therapy services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform evaluations, gait training, pediatric assessments, and use adaptive equipment and specialty beds.
• Document care using the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Work occasional weekends (approximately 1‑2 per month) and major holidays as scheduled.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding references and certifications.

Required qualifications

• AWHONN Pediatric Certification.
• Alaska (AK) Physical Therapist license (valid or pending).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric settings.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings.
• Acute care experience, including use of adaptive equipment, evaluation, gait training, pediatric assessments, and specialty beds.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
