Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic - $2,840 per week

Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) in Providence, RI. This outpatient role involves evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries, such as strains, sprains, and fractures, in a clinic setting. The position requires effective communication with medical teams and reporting patient progress to in-house and specialty doctors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with various musculoskeletal injuries
• Communicate treatment plans and evaluations effectively to medical teams
• Report patient progress to in-house doctors and specialty doctors such as orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons
• Provide assistance to center colleagues in identifying issues
• Work in conjunction with a team of therapists to treat outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting

Requirements

• Current license for practicing state
• BS or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
• 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience
• 2 years of experience practicing as a physical therapist
• Experience treating sprains, strains, and fractures

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 1‑hour unpaid lunch; minimum 40 hours per week. Assignment runs from 11/02/2026 to 01/29/2027.

Additional details

• Experience treating 14–16 patients per day is highly desired
• Knowledge of manual therapy techniques is required
