Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic - $2,092 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves treating an outpatient orthopedic patient population with a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week and a typical caseload of 12-14 patients per day. Float to neighboring clinics, including NW Sports PT and Lakewood locations, is required. Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat outpatient orthopedic patients across multiple clinic locations.
• Maintain a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week.
• Manage a typical caseload of 12-14 patients per day.
• Float to neighboring clinics as required.
• Double-book follow-up visits.

Requirements

• Outpatient experience preferred.
• PTA candidates will not be accepted.
• New graduates will not be accepted.
• License required if applicable.
• Date of birth required for consideration.
• Open to first-time travelers.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting September 7, 2026.
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (5x8hrs).
• Overtime hours require prior approval from the director.
