About the role

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic setting in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The role requires prior outpatient experience and openness to floating between clinics.

• Outpatient orthopedic patient population
• Ability to float to neighboring clinics as part of a travel team
• 8-hour day shifts, up to 40 hours per week with 36 hours guaranteed
• Productivity expectation of approximately 60 visits per week, seeing 12-14 patients per day
• Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected
• Overtime must be pre-approved by the director

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic patients across primary and neighboring clinics

Requirements

• Prior outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
• Active PT license required if applicable
• PTA candidates will not be considered
• New grads will not be considered
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
