Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient - $2,667 per week
About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a hospital‑based clinic in Charlotte, Michigan. The clinic has a strong orthopedic caseload and requires no weekend or float work. Setting: hospital‑based outpatient clinic. Patient population: primarily orthopedic (total joint replacements, sports injuries) with additional vestibular, neuro, and lymphedema cases. Daily patient load: 8‑12 patients over an 8‑hour day. Productivity standard: 3.00 units/hour. Schedule: Monday‑Thursday 10:00 am‑6:30 pm, Friday 9:00 am‑5:30 pm (40 hours/week, 5×8‑hour shifts). Epic EMR is used; training provided during orientation. Attire: polos with black slacks. Parking: free with badge access to the garage. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel positions. First‑time travelers may be considered depending on qualifications. Returning core staff must wait 12 months before reapplying and must be verified through HR prior to consideration. RTO requests are limited to a 5‑day maximum per assignment and must be submitted at time of consideration.
Requirements
- Michigan state license (if applicable)
- BLS required
- AHA certification preferred
- Required experience in geriatrics, orthopedics, and sports medicine
- New graduates welcome
- Proof of high school level education required (regardless of secondary education)
- Vestibular experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
