Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient - $2,646 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, starting January 4, 2027. The position is full‑time (40 hours/week, 8‑hour day shifts) as a travel PT in an acute care setting. Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the state PT board’s rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred; up to 6 months accepted for exceptional candidates)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific PT license
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
