Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Outpatient setting. Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments of new patients, sets measurable treatment goals, develops and implements treatment plans, and documents patient progress.
• Administers diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests to determine impairments and prognosis.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts treatment plans accordingly.
• Provides patient and family education on therapeutic procedures.
• Participates in departmental meetings, maintains statistical records, and contributes to professional growth through ongoing education.
• Provides guidance to support staff and assists in training new personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
