Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification preferred
• Strong assessment and clinical evaluation skills required
• Proficiency with standard PT modalities including e-stim, TENS, ultrasound, moist heat, cervical and lumbar traction preferred
• Experience with gait training, extremity mobilization, therapeutic exercise (AROM/AAROM/PROM), and assistive/adaptive devices
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Licenses required if applicable

Details

Outpatient clinic setting focused on orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation.
Patient population includes orthopedic conditions such as low back pain, cervicalgia, DDD, DJD, hip fractures, total hip and knee replacements, post-op shoulder and spinal surgeries, frozen shoulder, ankle sprains, and gait impairments.
Neurologic patient population includes post-stroke rehabilitation.
Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

13-week contract

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former employees of any Guthrie facility must have been separated for a minimum of one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Approximately 4 hours of non-billable online modules required prior to start
• Responsibilities include evaluation, plan of care development, short- and long-term goal setting, reassessments, discharge planning, and patient/family education
• Additional specialty areas include sports medicine and work conditioning preferred

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
