About the role
This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting in Carrollton, Georgia, starting 09/07/2026. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and adjusting treatment plans, and ensuring functional recovery to facilitate return to community activities. The therapist will serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers while maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Document medical records accurately and timely in accordance with policies and guidelines.
- Participate in student training programs.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain active licensure.
- Adhere to performance improvement initiatives and discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory standards.
- Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and quality of care.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- CPR certification.
- Valid state license in good standing.
- 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
- Orthopedic experience.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment plans.
- Experience with medical record documentation.
- Knowledge of performance improvement methodologies.
- Strong clinical reasoning and professional development skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior assignment with Cross Country Allied or the organization.
- Previous experience with Select Medical.
Schedule
- Days shift, 8 hours per day.
- Minimum 40 hours per week.
