About the role
Physical Therapist, Outpatient position in Durham, North Carolina. The Physical Therapist evaluates patients and develops, implements, and modifies individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. The role supports functional recovery, patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical documentation, and safe, high-quality outpatient care.
Travel assignment starting 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, day shift.
Responsibilities
- Completing comprehensive patient evaluations
- Developing treatment plans and goals
- Documenting care accurately and timely
- Providing care under valid physician orders
- Educating patients, families, students, and coworkers
- Participating in student development when assigned
- Maintaining professional licensure and continuing education
- Adhering to applicable practice acts and professional standards
- Supporting patient safety, infection prevention, workplace safety, and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience
- CPR Certification
Schedule
Day shift, 8-hour shifts: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; 40 hours per week.
